COVID Policy Overview

Coronavirus (COVID) has had a massive impact on all of us, but especially in the leisure and tourist Industries. Just lately, things seem to change faster than we can update our web site. However, we have implemented the following changes to our operations and added a COVID booking guarantee to give you peace of mind that you will never lose any money on a booking with us!

Your Safety, Precautions and Cleaning of Vans

The safety of our customers and staff is very important to us. We have implemented new COVID-safe procedures including: dedicated premises cleaning times; dedicated time slots for van collections; reducing the number of people on our site at any one time, and enhanced cleaning of vans to include the use of antiviral products.

All Ramsey’s Campervan staff will adhere strictly to the Government guidelines and we are sure all our customers will do the same.

COVID Booking Guarantee

The Ramsey’s Coronavirus booking guarantee applies to all bookings made after 1st February 2021. At the time of booking, you pay a £150 deposit as usual. The balance is due 42 days before the hire commences. If for any Coronavirus-related reason (see reasons below), you are unable to proceed with your hire then we would cancel your booking without penalty and provide a full refund of the deposit you have already paid. If you have made any additional payments these would also be refunded immediately via your original payment method.

Valid Reasons

Valid reasons would be:

  • A national lockdown;

  • Lockdown in your home location;

  • You or a member of your household contract Covid-19;

  • You or a member of your party are required to isolate due to contact with a person infected with COVID-19.


Proof of isolation requirement will need to be produced. Without this, the cancellation policy in the
regular Terms and Conditions will apply.
